In partnership with several Atlanta metropolitan area schools, KeyPoint Alliance, Inc. implements the ETS program and its host of services to 500 program participants starting in middle school through young adulthood, and we're growing!

Eligibility

The TRiO Educational Talent Search (ETS) program services are offered at No Cost to eligible students who demonstrate an academic need for our services, and who have the potential and desire to enroll in (or re-enter) college or a university after high school graduation or obtaining a GED. If accepted into the program, students must be willing to make a long-term commitment to participate in the program. Students must also:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or meet US Residency requirements (applies to all applicants)

  • Be a middle school student (and at least 11 years old) or high school student attending one of KPA’s partnering schools and/or live in the target areas ETS serves

  • Have at least a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better (applies to high school students only)

  • Meet income guidelines and/or be a potential first-generation college student (meaning neither parent the student lives with has a four-year or advanced degree)*

  • Have the desire to succeed in high school (or obtain a GED), and go on to finish college

* Two-thirds (67%) of ETS participants must meet potential first generation and low-income guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Education. However, when space is available, we accommodate a limited number of eligible applicants that do not meet both requirements.
